This morning was woken up by a loud bang and half my house without power, including the fridge. Dreaded by the fact that I may have to throw out and waste food, I rushed to message a bunch of electricians on Google Maps. Bart from SA Wide Electrical quickly called back, discussed the issue and due to the urgency of the issue, offered to try to resolve the issue the same day. Having lived to almost 70 now, I’ve had my fair share of tradie experiences. Thankfully, Bart was a breath of fresh air. He was able to identify an issue with the switch board outside the house and repair it in a timely manner. Just like that, my fridge and food were saved. Though I did not have the best morning, I am glad out of all this, I managed to accidentally discover my now go-to sparky, who not only was professional throughout the whole ordeal, but also did not charge an arm and a leg. Bart came to our house and did a large number of electrical jobs including an extremely difficult job installing some lights in our front pillars. The access was almost impossible, however Bart found a solution. His work is of the highest quality and he is one of the nicest guys you will meet. He left our place so clean and tidy. Bart is one of the best electricians iv dealt with.
He doesn’t cut corners. Makes sure everything is safe along with being neat and tidy. We purchased lights and Bart checked them over to make sure they’re safe with one having a loose earth wire.
