We had an urgent issue with our switchboard - a section of our house lost power completely. Bart came out on an emergency call-out and quickly diagnosed a loose connection from the original install that had caused arcing and damage to a breaker. He clearly explained what had happened and the fire risk it posed, then came back the next day with the right parts to fix it properly and checked the rest of the switchboard while he was at it.

Really professional, honest, and thorough from start to finish - exactly what you want when it's a safety issue in your own home. Highly recommend and will be using again for any future electrical work.

Highly recommend SA WIDE ELECTRICAL!
We originally called Bart out after we lost power to most of our house using our mulcher. Bart came out the same day, replaced the fuses and showed us what the issue was.
Bart thankfully pointed out that our old fuse board didn’t have any safety switches and really needed to be upgraded. We knew it needed to be done, but we didn’t realise the severity of it.
We went ahead with the upgrade, which then uncovered some issues with our oven tripping, something that had never occurred before because it never had a safety switch 🤦‍♀️
Bart was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, including all the calls when something went wrong.
We then had Bart carry out a full electrical safety inspection, which picked up a few other issues that we were completely unaware of. He also discovered that our smoke detectors were years out of date something we honestly hadn’t even thought about. Bart then came out to swap over our ovens and replace our smoke detectors! His customer service has been exceptional & he has been super accomodating fitting us when we’ve needed.
What we really appreciated was that Bart didn’t just fix the immediate problems and leave. He took the time to identify potential safety issues and make sure our home was actually safe. He was knowledgeable, professional, honest and genuinely helpful throughout everything.
We’re so glad we called Bart and would 100% recommend him to anyone needing an electrician.
Thanks again, Bart! 👏⚡️

Bart is extremely professional, prompt and tidy. He arrived right on time, explained the process he would be doing in the wiring of my shed. The final price matched the quote with no hidden surprises. I highly recommend his services in all things electrical, no job too big or small.

Bart was recommended to us by Chat GPT 😉We had an excellent experience with Bart from SA Wide Electrical today . He responded promptly, arrived on time, and quickly identified the problem with our switchboard. Bart explained everything clearly and replaced all the necessary switchboard components efficiently, completing the work within a very reasonable timeframe and at a fair price.

Bart was professional, knowledgeable, honest and extremely thorough. His diagnosis was accurate, his workmanship was excellent, and he made sure everything was safe and working properly before leaving. He also has a very kind and friendly personality and genuinely went above and beyond to help us. We are extremely happy with the service and would highly recommend Bart and SA Wide Electrical to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy electrician.
